Breaking news: three new speakers confirmed for HPN Midlands

HPN Midlands is fast approaching, and we’re excited to announce that we have three new speakers confirmed for the event.

Ming Tang, Interim Chief Digital and Information Officer, NHS England

Firstly, we’re pleased to reveal NHS England’s newly appointed Interim Chief Digital and Information Officer, Ming Tang , as our closing keynote speaker.

With more than 20 years’ experience leading major digital and data transformation projects across the NHS, Ming brings unparalleled insight into how we build a truly data-driven, digitally empowered health system.

During her keynote address, ‘Shaping the future of healthcare’, Ming will explore the future of healthcare and the pivotal role of digital innovation in shaping the NHS of tomorrow, in line with the ambitions of the 10 Year Plan. This session is a must-attend for NHS leaders navigating key challenges such as interoperability, data security, and patient-centric care.

Will Goodwin, Regional Director of Digital Transformation for the Midlands, NHS England

Also joining HPN Midlands this year is NHS England’s Regional Director of Digital Transformation for the Midlands, Will Goodwin

A seasoned digital leader with over a decade of experience in the technology industry, Will has a proven track record in delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. His expertise spans the entire digital project lifecycle, from strategic planning to operational delivery.

In our opening keynote session, ‘Transforming clinical practice and operations with AI’, Will joins a panel of experts who will take a practical perspective on AI in healthcare. During the session, he’ll share real-world case studies, discuss challenges and opportunities, and provide tangible insights around the robust implementation of this technology.

Anna Evans, Deputy Chief Clinical Information Officer and Clinical Lead for Quality Improvement, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust

Lastly, we’re delighted to announce that Deputy Chief Clinical Information Officer and Clinical Lead for Quality Improvement at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust, Anna Evans, will be joining us as our third new speaker.

With over 20 years of experience in the NHS, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the conversation, with a keen focus on digital health technology and a commitment to improving patient care.

She will be taking part in the keynote panel, ‘Building a thriving NHS workforce in the digital era,’ where she’ll join a group of leading experts to explore how digital solutions can support staff wellbeing, reduce burnout, and drive productivity.

This is a must-see session for senior healthcare leaders looking to optimise data use for pathway transformation, address workforce shortages, and utilise AI and digital tools to enhance productivity and engagement.
