Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate qualified business calls with new potential clients to sponsor our events.
This role is perfect for you if you’re target motivated and enjoy establishing new connections and building rapport with others. If you’re confident on the phone, organised, and enjoy a fast-paced environment we want to hear from you!
This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is either already working in sales looking for a new challenge or eager to start a career in a role that rewards success.
What Can You Expect from The Day to Day?
- Conduct prospecting and outreach to generate new business leads
- Engage in effective communication with potential clients via the phone
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the senior sales team
- Research and understand your event portfolio to identify good matches for potential sponsors
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Success Factors
- Previous experience in sales or a strong desire to start a career in sales
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly over the phone
- Organised with great attention to detail
- Proficiency using Excel
- Pro-active in conducting research to identify potential business opportunities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
