James, Nick and Cliff will discuss Medway’s commitment to the continuous engagement of their staff and clinicians from across the Trust. Their presentation on Model Hospital engagement will include an overview of where they started and how they engaged their
workforce, Model Hospital Champions and how they have set the direction for other Trusts, and case studies used in Estates to identify strategy and improvements.
There will also be a focus on continuous improvement and outcomes, with James, Nick and Cliff going over several crucial elements needed to achieve this, including: background thinking and a lean management system; CI tools and a link to strategy; the number of trained individuals; improvement huddles (why, what and how); demonstrations of improvements in staff survey results; and joining it all together for continuous improvement to become business as usual.
